Alpine Shipping provides inland transportation services throughout all of Europe, including Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Baltic States and Western and Eastern Europe.
Our inland transportation is operated by the German-based company Raisin GmbH and the Latvian-based company LARR Logistics, who own a modern fleet of trucks and trailers with a capacity of 86 and 120 cubic meters. Alpine Shipping is the sole representative of both these companies in Israel.
All the trucks are equipped with TomTom state-of-the-art satellite tracking systems that enable the company and its clients to track the cargo and provide precise and updated information regarding the location of the truck at any given moment, as well as predicting the expected time of arrival at the destination.
The company is equipped to provide inland transportation services for a wide variety of cargo, including:
- Standard Cargoes – full truck loads (FTL), less than a truck load (LTL) and consolidated goods
- Containers
- Refrigerated cargo (Reefer)
- Dangerous goods (ADR/ IMO) – we handle the issuing of all necessary permits
- Refrigerated dangerous goods – we handle the issuing of all necessary permits
- Out-of-Gauge (OOG) cargoes – including coordinating with the authorities and issuing all necessary permits
- Express Courier Delivery – for urgent cargo (up to 15 cbm), from Frankfurt Airport to any destination in Europe or Russia
- Valuable Goods – increased safety by means of an armored vehicle escort, if required

All Inland Transportation is conducted in compliance with the CMR Convention (an international convention for the transportation of goods) and includes insurance coverage in accordance with the CMR convention, in the case of goods being damaged during transportation.
Goods can be insured for their full value, if the client so wishes.
